Our family had a great week for Thanksgiving at Kiawah Cottage. The home is very clean and well-stocked with most items needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the screened porch for morning coffee while others could sleep later. The location is incredible, with beach access within sight. We also appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels, which we would have needed to pack otherwise. The communication and practical side also worked very smoothly. We’re already talking about returning. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is our second year staying at the Kiawah Cottage, because we were so impressed with our first stay. Our second did not disappoint. When you arrive at Kiawah Cottage you instantly feel welcome. The home is immaculate and music is playing as you walk in. The cottage provides everything you need for the perfect beach stay (beach chairs, towels, toys, etc.). As far as access goes, this is the closest you can get to the beach without being beachfront. Additionally, you are a short walk or bike ride away from The Nest and other locations on the island. Kiawah often feels like our home away from home and Kiawah Cottage is the perfect place to stay when we visit. Until next time!

Everything about Kiawah Cottage is absolutely perfect! The furnishings are comfortable, well equipped kitchen makes cooking fun & easy, the cottage is always pristine upon arrival & the hosts are fantastic.Most important is the close proximity to the beach! Already looking forward to our next vacation there!

Our group stayed at the Kiawah Cottage for an extended weekend on the island and it was a fantastic place to stay! The cottage was the perfect size for our group, which consisted of two couples and a 7 month old. We enjoyed how close the cottage is to everything the island has to offer. Whether it be the beach, walking trails, or golf courses everything was quickly accessible from the cottage. Also, we appreciated how clean it was considering the baby in our group. We can’t wait to go back!

Kiawah Cottage is beautiful, restful, immaculate, and a perfect place for your week or weekend travels. It is tucked into a community of large homes surrounded by tropical shade greenery very very close to ocean front sunbathing. 10 our of 10!

I have been staying at Kiawah Cottage for the month of February for the last several years. The cottage has the perfect location, being almost mid-island and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Elizabeth is super responsive and the cottage is always immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Kiawah Cottage!

We have been visiting Kiawah for more than 40 years, but this cottage was our best rental to date! Perfect location, perfect furnishings, and perfect rental experience. The cottage is so clean, you will be amazed. Since we both love to cook, we really appreciated how the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy many meals. Comfortable furniture, excellent internet, fluffy towels, nice bed linens, and a fantastic screened porch. Spent lots of time on the porch. Loved the short walk to the beach, and the beach chairs were such a nice treat. This is just a perfect find, and you will enjoy the beauty of the island.

We have stayed at Oceanwoods many times over four decades of vacationing on Kiawah. This was by far the loveliest. Beautiful renovation and attention to details by Elizabeth. We will be back!

We can’t remember how many times we have stayed in Kiawah Cottage at this point. It is our first choice for any trip to Kiawah. We come to the island roughly twice a year and we have never had a better experience. The house is always immaculate, well-stocked, and its proximity to the beach, the market/playground/nature center make it a perfect location for our family. There are two boardwalks in throwing distance, including one that is accessible for any visitors with mobility issues that make stairs challenging. During our most recent trip we walked and biked for miles on the beach, golfed, visited the playground every day, and had meals at home thanks to the well-appointed and cleanly designed kitchen. A total home run.
